How to measure
- Check the chart first. Some charts list body measurements and some list the shirt itself. Each chart says which.
- Body chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, keeping the tape level and comfortably loose.
- Body waist: measure around your natural waist.
- Shirt measurements: lay a shirt that fits you well flat. Measure straight across 1 inch below the armpits for width, and from the top of the shoulder by the collar down to the hem for length.
- Compare: pick the size closest to your measurements.
Fabric & care
- Every piece is hand printed, so small variations make each one a little different. Perfectly imperfect.
- We print with non-toxic, water-based inks for a soft feel. Prints may fade slightly over time.
- Wash cold. Dark fabrics may bleed, so wash them separately.
- Shirts shrink slightly in the dryer. Hang dry to keep your fit.
Iron-on patches
How to apply an iron-on patch
For a permanent hold, manufacturers recommend sewing on iron-on patches. Cotton and cotton-polyester blends work best. Don’t iron patches onto waterproof rainwear, stretchy fabrics, leather, rayon or nylon. If you’re unsure, test your iron on a hidden seam first.
- Set your iron to dry (no steam) and preheat to the cotton setting, or one or two settings lower if you’re unsure of your fabric.
- Place the patch where you want it and cover it with a pressing cloth.
- Slip a stiff backing between the layers of your garment so heat reflects back into the patch.
- Press straight down (no sliding) for 25 to 40 seconds.
- Turn the item inside out and press the back of the patch for 30 to 45 seconds, still using the pressing cloth.
- Let everything cool completely, then check an edge with your fingernail.
- If an edge lifts, repeat with 10 to 20% more time. Don’t peel the patch off, or the adhesive will be damaged.
